PausiblePausible is a tool you point at your own phone. These are the terms it comes with, kept short on purpose.
What Pausible is
Pausible is an iOS app that puts a pause in front of apps you choose, using Apple's Screen Time framework, and offers short alternatives to opening them. It is for adults managing their own devices. It is not a parental-control product and must not be used to control another person's device.
Provided as-is
Pausible is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will block an app every time, at every moment, on every version of iOS. Pausible works through Apple's Screen Time framework and can only be as reliable as iOS allows; Apple's system may drop permissions, expire app tokens or miss a schedule, and Pausible's job is to notice and tell you, not to guarantee that it never happens. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, Pausible — including time spent in an app that should have been paused.
Not medical advice
Pausible is a self-control aid. Nothing in it — the pauses, the breathing pace, the reflection prompts — is medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it is not a treatment for any condition. If your relationship with your phone is causing you real harm, please talk to a professional.
Purchases
Pausible Pro is sold through Apple's App Store, as a one-time purchase or an annual subscription, and is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. The annual subscription is charged to your Apple ID, renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. There is no free trial. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Blocking apps is free and does not require a purchase.
Your data
Pausible collects none. What it stores stays on your device and is deleted with the app. See the privacy policy.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Pausible after that means you accept them.
